Esperance Police seek help with burglaries throughout town

Esperance Police are asking the community for help with four burglaries which happened last week.

On Sunday, June 11, offenders went into a home on White Street in Nulsen and stole the resident’s handbag, jacket and wifi modem.

The same night, a person entered a shed Gull Street in Esperance and stole a picnic basket.

On Friday night, June 19, a person went into Supa IGA on Dempster Street and stole charity tins and confectionery.

The same night, an offender broke into Maree and Baxter Art Gallery on Dempster Street and stole cash and a wifi modem.

Police believe the same person is responsible for the Supa IGA and art gallery burglaries.

At the time of the IGA burglary, CCTV identifies a person who is walking two dogs which are possibly German Shepherds.

Police would like to speak to this person who may have witnessed the offender before or after the burglary happened.
