ESPERANCE’S junior and
sub-junior Volunteer Fire and Rescue running team has returned triumphant from
a two-day run as part of the Merredin Twilight Competition across October
27-28.
The brigade brought home
accolades for a win with their champion junior team, champion sub-junior team
and the overall champion brigade.
Lieon Kiripatea was named
champion junior fireman, while Nicholas Crane was a close second with two other
regional team competitors.
In sub-juniors, Liana
Cook was named champion sub-junior fireman, with Joe Quinlivan in second and
Liz Boyd in third.
