Keep Esperance Beautiful will host a “cleaning blitz” throughout Nulsen on Sunday, October 1 between 9-11am.
Cleaning blitz coordinator Jen Morcombe urged Esperance residents and visitors to the town to come along and join in.
She said the group endeavoured to pick up rubbish through out the whole suburb. “We hope to get at least a couple from every street,” Ms Morcombe said.
“Every little bit helps.”
Ms Morcombe said on previous days locals had seen volunteers cleaning and joined in.
Volunteers can meet at Bay of Isles Community Out reach (BOICO)’s Harmonee House located at 26 Morton Way, Nulsen.
Ms Morcombe said special bags and gloves would be made available.
A barbecue will be supplied free of charge thanks to funding received from Esperance Regional Forum’s closure.
