A man accused of drink driving has been found on the grounds of the Esperance Senior High School.
Esperance Police found the 52-year-old Castletown man asleep in the driver’s seat of his Ford utility, with the engine running, at 3am on Tuesday.
The man refused to participate in a preliminary breath test and was taken from the Esperance Senior High School carpark to Esperance Police Station.
He then refused to take a required sample at the station.
Police charged the man and issued him an immediate disqualification notice from driving.
He will appear in the Esperance Magistrate Court on August 8.
