Registrations open for Tour de Esperance

To help celebrate Bastille Day, Esperance Cycling will be hosting the annual Tour de Esperance event.

Registrations are now open for the race which will take place on July 16.

There are three different categories to choose from including the 11 kilometre participation ride, 33 kilometre challenge ride and the 55 kilometre handicap race.

There is over $1600 in cash prizes awarded to the first, second and third cyclists over the finish line, the fastest over all cyclist and the first female across the line.

There is also spot prizes for participation riders.

There will be a ride briefing on Saturday July 15 at the Pier Hotel at 5.30pm.

On race day, meet at the Whale Tale to register from 6.30am – 7.30am and the race will start at 8am.
