Esperance Scout Group took to the shrub on top of Wireless Hill last weekend, in an effort to clean up for Keep Australia Beautiful Day.
Scouts from 14-year-old and under joined with parents and coordinators to pick up a wide array of discharged items.
The youngsters were surprised by the amount of glass that was located on top of the hill, over looking the Esperance Port.
One of the scout leaders Carmel Hall said the day helped the children understand the importance of throwing rubbish in the bin and being conscious of their environment.
