Jerdacuttup Search: Missing man’s identity released

Police have revealed the identity of the 74-year-old man who perished in floodwaters near Jerdacuttup.

Anthony (Tony) Reid was found on Tuesday, February 14 by family members assisting Police and State Emergency Service. 

Mr Reid’s body was found three kilometres south of the South Coast Highway.

In a statement released on Tuesday Mr Reid’s family thanked Ravensthorpe Police, local farmers and the SES for their assistance with the search.

Mr Reid is the second casualty following the death of 68-year-old Gibson man Charles Boyes, bringing WA’s flood death toll to two.
