Just one day after his tragic shark attack, Esperance residents are showing support for victim Sean Pollard with a fundraiser.

Urging residents to "make a difference", pamphlets were distributed to local businesses and around the town this morning.

Operated by the Lions Club of Esperance, all proceeds will go towards the victim and his family to help assist with medical costs and rehabilitation.

Money can be dropped off at the Shire of Esperance office and the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre, with donations open until Friday, October 17.

The 23-year-old Bunbury man lost parts of both arms in the attack at Kelp Beds surf break, 10 kilometres east of Esperance yesterday.
