UNDER 12s better players in a close loss: Taiepa Kingi and Shaq Nelson.

U14s another great win, Kahn Wyatt fantastic 6 goals and best on ground (proving he's no relation to Salty) Eddie Mumford and Kyran Mckenzie 2 each and well supported by Lachie Newman, Lachie McLeod and the ever consistent Rhys Wood.

U16s, Colts, and Reserves are coached by Mo Neill, Larry Davis and Curly Callow, so once again they've all provided as much information on best players as Immigration Minister Scott Morrison does on refugee boats - that would be NONE!

Great to see Ben Sanford in the Reserves for first game of the season and getting through unscathed; not so great seeing Reece Griffiths doing similar - I spent good money on you Reece, the least you could do is play some A-grade games.

League had great win.

Best: Ever reliable Tristan Walker, Mitch Kaye, Roger Parsons, Matt Ahchee (now mum compiles U12s reports, he can concentrate on playing) Stu Kempton and Shannon Nelson.

Player of the round was Mitch and again Simmo collected the money.

He's now bought a duffle coat to keep it because his trouser pockets are still full of unspent pound notes.

Wade Lear made an impact in first game for six years, although not as big as Big Hole's impact when he took a dive. Duke of Orleans Bay later recorded a mini tsunami.

Bye this weekend, good luck to all Colts and League players representing Esperance.
