AFTER two weeks off the teams were evened up again for the second half of the season.
A Grade – Game 1, Young Guns d Sharks: The game went right down to the last few points and the crowd really enjoyed the contest with some great rallies. Game 2, Knee Pads d Misfits: An evenly matched contest with great skills shown by both sides. However the Knee Pads took the points.
A Grade Best on court - Luke Pilmer, Nick Wells.
A Reserves - Game 1, Write Offs d ESHS Girls: A bit of a tennis match with the ESHS Girls loosing a lot of skill over the break. Shane O’Reilly served well with a 13-point streak to easily win the game. Game 2, Crims and Immigrants d Wetland Warriors: A good game with the Crims taking it up to the Wetland Warriors and the points. Game 3, No Names d Mad Wuckers: Both teams improved greatly as the game went on. Some great team tactics had to be used to try and disarm Chloe Thorp’s fantastic serve. Game 4, Blade Runners d ESHS Boys: The score doesn’t show how close the game was. Elle Maloney has really improved her service game. Blade Runners stay on top of the ladder.
A reserves – Best on court - Shane O’Reilly, Mike Vivian, Mitchell Waideman, Elle Maloney.
B Grade - Game 1, Wii Not Fit d Bounce the Serve: A good game of rallies and serves. Bindy’s Bunch d Jet Set with a unnotified forfeit costing them 6 ladder points. Game 2 Couplez Chaos d Rough Riders: A good game with constant serving from both teams but the Couplez Chaos had the advantage at the net and won the game.
B Grade – Best on court - Andy Lee, Clinton Steel.
