ON the September 20 the Esperance Tae Kwon Do Academy had its term three grading at the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre. The 25 students who attempted grading to their next level had to perform their patterns and show defensive skills they have learned.
The day was awesome with Peter McCleave going for his black belt level. Pete defended himself against attackers with knives and bats, smashed boards with his devastating axe kick, and punched through roofing tiles.

It was fantastic to see the students who put the hard work into their training show that they can perform at a higher level. Brock Neville and Nathan Paparone showed they had been practicing hard by the way their techniques were demonstrated and handled the pressure very well.
