Record donation from Esperance

THE strong auxiliary behind the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Esperance were pleased to celebrate a record-breaking fundraising donation for the 2011 period.

The auxiliary announced $100,000 in donations on Tuesday which were to be sent to Kalgoorlie following their annual general meeting; donations which will be used for the maintenance of aircraft and purchase of essential medical equipment.

President Ian Scott sincerely thanked the committee for their valuable support and commitment to the Esperance auxiliary.

“You all deserve a big thank you for your loyal support and hard work, we really are a good team.

“Thank you for your help in keeping the ‘Doc’ flying and I know your services are much appreciated by many people far and wide.”
