A 25-YEAR-OLD man was run over by a train in Norseman in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Norseman Police officer in charge Sergeant Mark Tobiassen said it appeared that the man was struck by a train on the Kalgoorlie-Esperance line at about 3.30am.

Srg Tobiassen said the man was last seen alive at 3am.

“We have a lot of people to interview, so we can piece together what happened,” he said.

The man was originally from South Australia but has been living in Norseman since December.
